The one-day free event will take place at the Rose Bowl in Leeds on the 16 April 2019.
BPIF specialist services manager and CDI manager Meeka Walwyn-Lewis said: “We want to go bigger and better than the last show, this March, which drew 300 people. Next year we'd like 300 plus.”
More details of the 2019 event such as the theme and speakers will be released over the summer she said.
Last year's theme was colour and speakers included Jonathan Sands, chairman of Leeds-based brand design agency Elmwood, who spoke about sensory marketing.
“An awful lots is happening in visual media such as augmented reality and AI, which are becoming massive. This will be reflected in next year's show,” said Walwyn-Lewis.
“The conference is as much for printers and students as the creative industries, and what's trending right now is how all this new technology will shape branding. Print is a vital part of the mix.”
VMC brings together speakers and exhibitors, international experts on technology and communication and show visitors.
In 2019, VMC will once again work collaboratively with founding partners HP, ProCo and Jaywing.
