Denmaur Independent Papers partners with Publishing Expo 2011

Denmaur Independent Papers has become the official paper partner for print and online publishing exhibition Publishing Expo 2011.

The independent paper merchant will provide all of the paper used in the promotion of the event, from tickets to programmes and leaflets.

Denmaur will also be exhibiting at the show with a focus on promoting helpful cost-effective paper options for publishers and end users.

Peter Sommerville, marketing director at the Sittingbourne headquartered company, said the merchant has supported several exhibitions over the years, and was most recently at Publishing Expo in 2009.

He said: "As our key market is publishing, we think it's important to be a supply partner for the event again this year.

"With publishers experiencing higher paper costs from last year and new lightweight coated and mediumweight coated increases kicking in in 2011, we think it would be helpful to feature our paper management options at the event."

He added it's also a great opportunity to see the company's regular clients under one roof, while also making some new customers.

Publishing Expo 2011 will be held at Earls Court 2 in London on 1-2 March and is attended by those in the magazine, newspaper, newsletter, catalogue and brochure industries.

He said: "Educational seminars are well received and it's our strategy to support events and not just leave it to the digital services.

"We firmly believe that paper and print is and will remain a strong and sustainable part of the media offering that publishers have at their disposal."

Denmaur Papers supplies graphic papers to printers, publishers and end users.

It sells over 152,000 metric tonnes of paper per annum and has a group turnover of £91m.
