Based in London, the company has worked with Carbon Smart consultants to measure its carbon footprint and set a target to cut its emissions by 15% over three years.
Copyprint, which is already FSC certified and expects to become ISO 14001 certified in the New Year, said its existing environmental policies had helped it to gain the award.
Production director of the 22-staffed site, John Perrott, said: "We became involved with the Carbon Smart scheme because we wanted to clearly demonstrate our commitment to customers, staff and suppliers.
"It has helped us tick the box, as one of our main clients has pledged to be carbon free by 2011. We are now aiming to reduce Copyprint UK's emissions by a further 5% by 2011."
He said the company will do this by raising staff awareness on energy use and wastage, and will also look to switching its current LPG powered vans to hybrid or electric versions to reduce emissions further.
The BPIF EcoPrint London was launched in April and offers London-based printers a fully-funded route to environmental certification.
EcoPrint London is funded by money from the European Regional Development Fund and is led by a Steering Group of London printers and stakeholders.
The scheme has been set up to help printers with fewer than 250 employees and a turnover below £50m gain access to credible green credentials.
Copyprint UK is a B3 commercial printer with digital, litho and mailing capabilities and three sites in the UK.
