Britain bids farewell to last evening broadsheet

The last remaining evening broadsheet in Great Britain has this week converted to tabloid format.

Last Friday night (23 March), the Johnston Press-owned Halifax Evening Courier was printed as a broadsheet for the final time before it changes to a tabloid format on Monday.

The Belfast Telegraph is now the only evening broadsheet in the UK.
