The firm made the 10-mile move from two separate rented units in Epping to newly leased 418sqm premises in Harlow, Essex in November after its previous lease expired.

The new unit, which has given the business twice as much space as the combined total size of its two previous units, incorporates modern offices and additional storage capacity to support the firm’s increased stock holding.

It is situated close to the M11 and M25 and within easy reach of Stansted and Heathrow airports for international customers.

Atlantic has 11 staff and offers nationwide service and support for Mimaki, Roland and Mutoh solvent printers. This arm of the business constitutes around 35% of its circa £1m turnover.

It also sells AEG UV printers, solvent and UV ink and media and is the UK dealer for Neolt finishing and printing equipment including NeoTrim cutters and trimmers, NeoLam laminators and NeoWeld welders.

Director Keith Pratt said: “We’d been looking to move for around a year or more for a number of reasons. Previously we had separate offices and warehouse facilities so what we’ve done is consolidated them into one building.

“Our old premises was getting too complicated because customers would arrive at the office and we’d have to drive them to the warehouse for demonstrations. This really is an improvement for our customers.”

The business is also planning to incorporate a showroom facility into the new unit to display as much of its print and finishing equipment as possible. Its upcoming development plans also include a customer training facility and increased service and support departments.
