FSC Friday will be held on 25 September, and several events will take place around the world to mark the day, which aims to raise awareness and understanding of FSC.
Paper manufacturer Arjowiggins will host a number of internal events to highlight the benefits of the certification to its employees.
It will take place at its sites in the UK, France, Spain, Chile and Brazil, and will include materials outlining the importance of sustainable forestry. There will also be an online quiz, where staff in the UK and France will be entered into a draw to win mini trees.
Jonathan Mitchell, business and marketing director at Arjowiggins Creative Papers, said: "Responsible forestry management can and will make a significant contribution to the preservation of the environment.
"Arjowiggins Creative Papers is deeply committed to FSC certification and wants to communicate this to staff in order to raise internal awareness of the great work that is being done by the FSC."
It is the third annual FSC Friday, which is organised by the standards body.
