Planned strike action by members of union Unite at industrial metal canister manufacturer Envases has been called off after fire and rehire threats were shelved.

Print workers at an industrial metal canister manufacturer have voted to take strike action after the firm required them to accept new contracts or be dismissed.

Employees at Amcor Packaging’s Workington site have voted for strike action in late May and Early June after declining a 6% pay rise.
