A major online auction of Paperlinx UK assets is being prepared, including warehouse racking with the capacity to hold 50,000 pallets and a host of printing and finishing kit.

Independent paper merchant The Premier Paper Group has been appointed as the exclusive UK stockist of Tullis Russell's Advocate paper product range, which was previously sold by Paperlinx.

Paperlinx has requested that its shares be suspended for a further eight days, until 16 April, while it attempts to deal with the knock-on effects of events in the UK on its European operations.
