The Veratex DTR300 series is the latest offering from the Montreal, Canada-headquartered sustainable inkjet consumables specialist.
Vera senior vice president Dr Madhu Kaushik said: “We have used all of our expertise and experience from our highly successful range of direct-to-garment and direct-to-film textile digital inkjet products to develop an exciting new offer for customers using R2R digital inkjet printing systems.”
The Vera R&D team worked closely with Paul Callahan, fabrication labs coordinator, and Instructor of Design Thinking, and the world-renowned team at the Nancy Richardson Design Center at Colorado State University to validate the performance characteristics of the new inkset.
“Their results confirmed our products set new standards in terms of colour quality, durability and performance,” said Kaushik.
“Furthermore, thanks to Vera’s well-proven inkjet formulation approach our customers are assured of reliability, consistency and predictable running costs.”
She added that, as with all Vera’s water-based inks, the new range achieved the highest standards when it comes to sustainability, building on the reduced waste and lower energy and water consumption of digital printing.
Available immediately, the new range comes in eight colours, (CMYK + Red/Green/Blue/Gray) and is tailor-made for the high standards required by textile manufacturers serving premium markets such as high-end fashion fabrics. For more information, please contact Dr Madhu Kaushik at info@verajet.com.
