However, we used to receive a lot of PDFs that took a long time to manually fix and re-RIP before being ready for CTP output. We installed Odystar Professional and an Odystar RIP for a three- week trial to try and speed up the process.
The software handled jobs perfectly and so when Artwork Systems brought out Intel Mac versions we purchased both products. The software has transformed the way we work in the repro department. The main functions that we used are preflighting, trapping and RIPing.
