In 2007, we invested in a Goss M-600, which was the company’s largest single investment since it began in 1984. We then chose GMI’s ColorQuick closed-loop system to complement it.
The automatic system uses real-time spectrophotometric data to control ink to ISO Status T or E target values. We wanted to configure the M-600 for maximum efficiency and usability. The software has helped to ease any burden on staff and to uphold our quality aspirations.
The consistency of the colour, even while at running speeds above 50,000 impressions per hour, is outstanding.
