Hasler said that the cutter will improve production by around 100%, mainly due to two newly-installed beams, which allow for smoother loading and unloading between jobs. The cutter is also available in four different sizes.
“For us it is the combination of the loading and unloading that is the major upgrade," Hasler said.
"We want to increase automation so that the customer can have more efficiency to produce, say, corrugated material for packaging and so on.”
Pre-orders are now being taken for the cutter, which is on sale for approximately €300,000 (£230,000). Hasler said more than 10 pre-orders have already been taken, including two from Austria, and one each from the UK, the US, Germany and Spain.
Also showing on the Zünd stand are its S3 and T3 digital cutters and a €3,000 software package to estimate the time for jobs.
