Available from locally held pallet stock with immediate effect, the range includes CreatorStar, a high quality, two-side gloss coated, woodfree product with a high whiteness and gloss finish that is said to provide “excellent ink lift and outstanding dimensional stability”.
CreatorSilk is a two-side semi-matt coated product with a smooth compact surface, which is said to ensure an even absorption and ink lift as well as “outstanding” dimensional stability.
Both CreatorStar and CreatorSilk are suitable for the production of art books, prestige and corporate brochures, annual reports, catalogues and high-end advertising material that requires strong imagery requirements.
Manufactured at Lecta’s Spanish mills from Elementary Chlorine free (ECF) woodfree pulp, the Creator ranges are available in both ream wrapped and bulk packed pallet stock from 90-380gsm in a variety of sizes.
The Creator products replace the Exceo range in Warren’s portfolio, following its manufacturer Feldmuehle’s decision to discontinue its production of coated papers.
“Our choice of the Creator range was due to its well proven, high quality performance levels across a wide range of basis weights and, given the continued uncertainty in coated paper manufacturing, the security of supply afforded by dealing with the Lecta Group,” said Warren managing director Kieran Ferguson.
Previously historically known only for its board products, Warren moved into paper distribution for the first time in 2014. The firm – a member of the AIMS Group of independent paper and board merchants in the UK and Ireland – provides a regional service covering the East and West Midlands, the North East, the South West and Scotland.
ISO 14001-certified Warren has 47 staff and sales approaching 40,000 tonnes per annum with a turnover in excess of £32m.
The business runs from a 3,902sqm converting facility in West Bromwich in the West Midlands and a 10,405sqm warehouse in Glenfield, Leicestershire. Its customers range from commercial and general printers through to carton convertors throughout the UK and Europe.
