The manucfacturer is exhibiting alongside its regional strategic partner Pixia, and is being complemented by Durst Software & Solutions.
The Vanguard VKR3200-HS is described as a true roll-to-roll printer that prints on a huge variety of substrates, delivering “phenomenal quality” for banner, static cling, wall covering, and other flexible materials.
Capable of handling a single roll of 3.2m or any two-roll configuration of up to 1.6m, the machine is running on the company’s stand and is commercially available now. Pricing starts from around €120,000.
The Vanguard VK3220T-HS, which had its global launch at Fespa Global Print Expo in 2023, is also running in Amsterdam. Both printers on the booth are utilising environmentally-friendly materials including SignAgain recycled boards and Kavalan PVC-free frontlit banner.
As with all Vanguard Europe machines, the VKR3200-HS is designed in the US and assembled at its European headquarters, next door to parent Durst's headquarters in Brixen, Italy.
The new industrial design features ergonomic improvements and software that boasts a novel GUI that is said to enable “seamless processing” of job order requirements independently for each of the dual rolls on the machine.
Fabian Sottsas, managing director of Vanguard Europe, said: “We are incredibly excited to be at Fespa Global. Together with Pixia and Durst Software & Solutions we have two incredible partners to showcase our cutting-edge products, software service technologies.
“We have made significant progress within a short period of time, as we continue to grow business together profitably for our customers.”
The Vanguard Europe software version of the Durst Workflow with Analytics is also being highlighted on the stand.
Durst Software & Solutions, meanwhile, is demonstrating its complete portfolio of software offerings that are said to streamline the entire process, starting with initial file creation, through pre-press, production, and final analysis for clients.
Fespa Global Print Expo is taking place from 19-22 March at the RAI in Amsterdam.
