Designed to meet growing customer demands for high quality, durable, and versatile materials, the new products on show include a range of self-adhesive films and protection laminates specifically engineered with high tack adhesive for large-format printing (LFP) applications.
Available from April, the new High Tack Polymeric LFP range is tailored for demanding indoor and outdoor applications on polar and non-polar surfaces, offering benefits including a high initial tack, and a clear, non-yellowing adhesive that is resistant to temperature, water, chemicals, and UV.
UPM Raflatac is also introducing a new self-adhesive Wall Graphics Paper product, which the company said offers an easily removable and repositionable option for wall decorations.
Due for release in May, it is designed with water-based adhesive, presenting a PVC-free product that is suitable for short-term decorations. UPM said that, when compared to solvent adhesives, solvent-free adhesives use far less energy during the manufacturing process and are free from hazardous air pollutants, which pose a risk to both human health and the environment.
These new offerings are complemented by the launch of an expanded sheets product offering for screen and UV offset printing under the established Intercoat brand name, which is available now.
Markku Pietarinen, global product manager, Graphics Solutions at UPM Raflatac, said: “As we unveil our expanded product range at Fespa Global Print Expo 2024, we’re not just introducing new products; we’re redefining what our customers can expect from both UPM Raflatac Graphics Solutions and the Intercoat brand.
“Our focus on innovation and customer-centric solutions ensures our newly expanded product range meets the evolving and diverse needs of the market and our growing customer base.”
Fespa Global Print Expo runs until Friday (22 March) at the RAI in Amsterdam.
