The CorrStream is a CMYK system printing at speeds up to 70m/min.
While three variants are sold by the US-based company, the first to be made available to continental markets will be the largest, the CorrStream66.
It takes a sheet size of 1.6x3m, with a print area of 1.345x3m. It is designed to allow for migration of low- and mid-volume work, introducing variable data, QR/AR printing, on-demand and next-day delivery to corrugated specialists.
Sun’s EMEA team is onsite in Munich to discuss the modular system with visitors. European sales are expected to begin in 2020.
The firm is exhibiting on stand A5-G51 at Fespa, which is being held at Messe Munich until Friday 17 May.
