The latest addition to Arlon’s portfolio, the product has been specially designed for vehicle wraps and in particular for fleet work.
It incorporates Arlon’s Flite Technology, a repositionable system based on an adhesive and liner combination that allows graphics to float over a substrate until firm pressure is applied.
It also features a low profile air egress liner and has a tinted, permanent, pressure-sensitive adhesive that is said to create enough opacity to ensure a vibrant print.
The material offers outdoor durability up to seven years, is compatible with eco-solvent, solvent, UV-cured and latex inks and is certified for use with HP Latex inks.
Arlon technical sales specialist Matt Braswell said: “Fusion Wrap can be the product of choice in various situations when cost-driven opportunities are presented, if shorter to medium term durability is specified, or when a flat to simple curve vehicle wrap application is present.
“The 'lite' initial contact adhesive system from Flite Technology will ensure repositionability, developing a quick anchor tack to speed up installations.”
Spandex general manager Leon Watson added: “Fusion Wrap is the perfect product for applications that don’t require a 3D cast product but that demand improved performance compared with a polymeric film.
“The inclusion of Flite Technology is a great advantage for customers looking for optimal ease and speed of application.”
Arlon Fusion Wrap is commercially available immediately from Spandex in 1.372m and 1.524m widths and a variety of roll lengths. It can be used in conjunction with the matching Arlon Series 3170 overlaminate.
