This is the first step for Pantoon into the mid-range UV digital printing market. The company provides sales, training and support services.
General manager Arnoud D’Hondt said: "The Screen range of printers will serve particular needs we are confronted with in terms of speed, quality and possibilities that go way beyond our current offering."
Manufactured by Screen subsidiary company Inca Digital, the Truepress Jet W3200UV is Screen’s latest flagship six-colour, flatbed UV press.
It was launched at last year's Fespa exhibition in a move that Screen said cemented its commitment to wide-format.
It is available in two speeds, 84sqm/hr or 150sqm/hr, features a 3.2x1.6m bed and has the ability to print onto a wide range of rigid and flexible media up to 50mm thick.
D’Hondt added: “The Truepress Jet W3200UV will allow us to offer market leading technology in high demand areas such as photography and backlit applications.”
Pantoon will be showcasing the Truepress Jet W3200UV printer on stand 4124 at Sign2Com from 28-30 September at the Kortrijk Xpo in Belgium.
