The six-colour plus white Truepress Jet W3200UV is manufactured by Screen subsidiary Inca Digital.
“Our partnership with Screen began in April and is purely with the flatbed UV, we’re not looking at anything else of theirs. Maintenance of the machines will be a joint effort between us and Screen and we’ll be working with Screen’s engineers as well as our own,” said managing director of Digital Print Innovations Stewart Bell.
The Truepress Jet W3200UV is available in a choice of two speeds: 85sqm/hr and 150sqm/hr. It has the ability to print onto a wide range of rigid and flexible media up to 3.2x1.6m in size and up to a maximum 50mm thickness.
It can be used for lenticular and multi-layer applications in the POS, signage and decor markets.
“We see this device as a solid engineered piece of equipment that can benefit our customers in terms of its productivity and the quality that it can produce,” said Bell.
“The benefit of somebody buying from us instead of directly from Screen would be our history and knowledge of flatbed applications. Our background as a business is really in digital wide-format and grand-format and therefore our customers know and trust us on the products that we recommend.”
Digital Printing Innovations employs seven staff and has a turnover of £1.25m. It is also a reseller of Jetrix and Seiko hardware.
