The 10-staff Bristol-based firm said both new product lines, which were launched last month, can be quickly and easily personalised in a few clicks online.
Customers are able to add the face of their choice to the printed insole of the flip-flops, which Printster said have been introduced in response to customer demand.
Meanwhile, a raft of new designs have been added to the company’s personalised socks range in time for Father’s Day, including Dad The Legend, Rock Star Dad and No.1 Dad.
Printster PR and marketing manager Rachael Hopwood Jarvis said: “Socks is where our big focus is. They work as a novelty gift all year round, but with the launch of our Mr & Mrs socks we had quite a lot of people asking us whether we did some kind of fun, slightly novel footwear that they could do for His & Hers for things like honeymoons.”
The flip-flops are available in sizes 4-6 for women, 7-11 for men, and in childrens’ sizes of 4-8 (small), 9-11 (medium) and 1-3 (large). The adult sizes are being sold for £16.99 including postage and packaging, while the kids’ sizes cost £14.99.
“People seem to like the novelty effect of personalisation – face masks for hen parties and corporate face masks, with pictures of bosses, have taken off. A lot of this is social media related, part of the novelty of this is that they can take and then share the pictures,” said Hopwood Jarvis.
Earlier this year Printster launched In Your Face, a product that enables customers to use photos of their own faces to create unique wrapping paper.
