Elements Light, which was launched at the beginning of October, is a low impact paper developed for optimal office printing performance. It can be used for laser, inkjet, volume copying and fax printing applications.
“We have a number of customers already buying this type of competitively priced, lighter weight paper under different brands and demand continues to grow,” said group marketing director David Jones.
According to Premier, the paper, which is available in A4 and A3 sizes and in a range of weights, is also suitable for firms with a strong environmental ethos. Its low weight and high bulk means that less energy and raw materials are used to produce it. It can also be carbon captured through Premier Paper.
Other products in the Elements range include Elements Fire, a high-performance paper for prestigious business documents and colour printing, Elements Air, a multifunctional range of papers for business communications and everyday printing and copying, and Elements Earth, which is suitable for everyday printing and copying.
Business papers director Matthew Fisher said: “Elements Light offers customers a cost-efficient, reliable copier and laser printing grade, which complements the existing range of Earth, Air and Fire and helps define Premier Elements as a leading merchant own label brand.”
