The paper, which will be available from 1 November, is a high white, chlorine-free office paper, which has been produced to meet a number of environmental standards. It can be used with laser and inkjet printers, photocopiers and fax machines.
Woodland Trust Office Paper, which carries the Colorlok logo, is available in both A4 and A3 sizes. Its environmental credentials include FSC certification, Carbon Capture, Nordic Ecolabel certification and EU Ecolabel certification.
Much of the energy used to make the paper is generated from the waste materials used in the pulp and papermaking process. It is produced with zero CO2 emissions from fossil fuels.
Excess heat from the process is also piped to a community heating project that services around 3,000 homes and civic buildings in close proximity to the mill.
The company stocks a number of other products with environmental features including the Evolution recycled range and MultiCopy. Woodland Trust Office Paper is the first product of its type to carry the Woodland Trust brand.

Every ream sold contributes towards the work of the Woodland Trust, the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity, and the CO2 generated from the production and distribution of the paper is compensated for through Premier’s Carbon Capture programme.”
