The event will run on 21-22 April at Presstek’s London demo centre in West Drayton.
IGS will showcase three inkjet devices that are new to its offering, including the UK launch for the Azon Razor direct-to-substrate printer will have its UK launch. It has a smaller-format at 300x800mm than the Azon device shown at Ipex last year and costs around £13,000.
Also new to IGS’ portfolio are the iJetColor inkjet printers for labels and envelopes. Both printers use high-speed Memjet inkjet technology. The label printer costs circa £10,000 and can print label stock from 52-222mm in width at up to 30cm/sec. The envelope printer can print up to 9,000 envelopes per hour and costs around £12,000.
Presstek will demonstrate one of its four-colour DI presses as well as inkjet and thermal CTP solutions. Its ‘Certified Pre-Owned’ range of used equipment will also be highlighted at the event.
The open house themes are: new revenue streams, low cost of ownership, and environmentally friendly solutions.
