The new inks are designed specifically for use in Oki Colorpainter M-64 LCIS digital printers that use Oki WX IP6 Inks.
Nazdar said the low odour formulation is colour matched to the OEM WX IP6 inks, which avoids the need for custom profiles in most situations.
The company said that because of the complete chemical and colour compatibility of the two inksets, the introduction of the 566 Series inks into the Colorpainter M-64 LCIS printer’s integrated four-litre capacity bulk-ink system “is a simple, seamless and trouble-free process”.
The 566 Series inks are said to deliver high print speed capability and high-impact, high-intensity colours equivalent to the original OEM inkset along with consistent and reliable print performance.
They are suitable for printing on multiple substrates including self-adhesive, flexible, and pressure sensitive vinyl, banner material, blue back paper, and backed mesh.
Nazdar market segment manager for aqueous and solvent digital Stephen Woodall said: “Nazdar 566 Series inks enable users to meet or exceed the quality, productivity and performance of the OEM inks while benefitting from significant savings.
“As with all of our ink solutions, the 566 Series is covered by one of the most comprehensive warranties in the market.”
Separately, in June Nazdar also globally commercialised the new 770 Series inks, a general graphics inkset designed for heated medium viscosity printheads. The new series uses low odour components and can cure by both UV and LED.
The 770 Series inks have been developed for Kyocera KJ4A printheads and are suitable for substrates including reinforced vinyl banner, pressure-sensitive vinyl, window cling, polystyrene, flexible PVC, foamboard, roll polycarbonate, and flexible backlit media.
They have been formulated to provide outdoor durability of up to two years when mounted vertically.
Nazdar global market segment manager for UV digital inkjet inks Josh Lutz said: “The 770 Series is suitable for the full range of roll-to-roll, hybrid and flatbed printers using Kyocera KJ4A printheads, making them a very convenient option for print service providers.
“They are covered by one of the most comprehensive warranties in the market, enabling businesses to confidently take advantage of the increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness of fully field-tested alternative ink solutions.”
Earlier this year Nazdar expanded its 130 Series of solvent inkjet inks with two new colours.
