The company offers wide-format ‘plug and play’ alternative inks for printers from major manufacturers including Roland DG and Mimaki, as well as inks compatible with kit from many of the Asian and Indian printer manufacturers.
Stephen Woodall, market segment manager for solvent/aqueous digital at Nazdar, told Printweek: “We’ve got products for particular models and brands of printer, and we’ve got more of a generic product that is for a given printhead.
“The printheads are used in a lot of the Asian and Indian machines that you see here. We’re seeing a lot of interest from both end users and resellers of those imported machines looking for a domestic, European supplier of inks.”
He added that while the primary driver for users changing to alternative inks is economic, in the case of users of some of the Asian firms’ kit, it’s also about ensuring availability and security of supply from a European supplier.
Fespa Global Print Expo runs until Friday (22 March) at the RAI in Amsterdam.
