The software, called Color Pack, is the Italian manufacturer’s latest entry into colour management, with MS claiming a raft of benefits for users, including an extended colour gamut, increased ink yield, simplified colour management processes, and a swift processing time thanks to a proprietary algorithm.
“We are proud to be at Fespa, presenting this new calibration software. It is another step forward in designing printing solutions that give our customers complete control. We make it easy, flexible, performing, and efficient,” said Matteo Forte, global product marketing manager at MS and its parent company, JK Group.
Color Pack is being demonstrated live on MS’ JP4 Evo printer, with the firm’s Kiian Digital K-One dye-sub ink.
Designed for paper and non-elastic fabric, the Evo is geared towards production, with eight 600dpi Kyocera printheads. It can reach print speeds of 255sqm/hr while printing with eight colours, or 315sqm/hr in double CMYK.
Stefano Prando, MS and JK Group’s global sales director, said: "Perfect colour matching and the highest quality done fast: this is the challenge in the visual communication market. We accept the challenge and are proud to present our soft signage printing solution at Fespa.”
As well as exhibiting in hall 12, booth B10 at the RAI in Amsterdam from 19-22 March, MS and JK Group is also on its working station at the Personalise Make Wear area, in hall 11, A20.
