The press manufacturer said this new strategic collaboration mirrors the successful formula applied at Komori France, which “has thrived under a similar agreement with Bograma”.
Despite Bograma’s relatively modest installed base, Komori said the UK and Ireland presented great opportunities for expansion, and that Bograma had recently extended its factory facilities and invested in its infrastructure.
It added the collaboration underscored the capabilities of the post-press division of Komori UK while adding “a valuable dimension” to the existing H+H and MBO (Komori Group) product portfolio.
Tom Baker, national sales specialist, post-press at Komori UK, said: “Our collaboration with Bograma in the UK and Ireland is a testament to our commitment to delivering high quality finishing solutions to our customers.
“By joining forces, we aim to bring a wider array of innovative finishing options, further strengthening our position as a trusted leader in the printing industry.”
According to Komori, the strategic move positions it as “a one-stop shop, offering not only state-of-the-art printing and finishing equipment but also comprehensive services and original manufactured parts”.
Komori told Printweek the partnership is exclusive to the UK and Ireland for Komori UK. Bograma kit was previously supplied in the UK and Ireland by Friedheim International but Friedheim told Printweek it had stopped selling the kit in early 2023, though still offers service and spare parts.
