The integration between Infigo’s software and Tharstern’s MIS will automate functions such as product mapping, job specification and submission, estimating, reporting, imposition, stock management, billing and shipping into a streamlined workflow.
Infigo said the biggest development facilitated by the partnership is integrated live pricing through Tharstern’s new API, which enables pricing to be pulled automatically from the Tharstern MIS into Infigo’s Catfish platform.
Infigo Software head of marketing Suzanne Rouart said: “The new API has changed the course of how we’ve been working with Tharstern. From a customer’s point of view it means that if they’re working onto a sales system, a stock system and a front-end e-commerce system, they’ve now got a single point of entry for product pricing.”
She added this would result in real-time, on-demand quotations for end-users.
“A lot of what we’re seeing is that businesses can’t be competitive in what is quite a commoditised industry if they’re spending as much time on a very tiny job as they are on a huge, valuable job. With some of the manual and repetitive tasks that our customers have, we’re always looking for solutions that will take away some of that pain.”
The two companies will jointly showcase the new integration at Print 17 in Chicago from 10 to 14 September.
Infigo has also recently unveiled partnerships with global online review community Trustpilot and software developer Enfocus.
