The iPrint Compact press, which will be given its world premiere at the show, will offer two-up, duplex printing within a single tower design and is aimed at the transactional, transpromo and direct mail markets.
The machine, which will be commercially available after Drupa, offers print speed of 127m/min at a resolution of 360x600dpi, 76m/min at 600x600dpi or 40m/min at 1200x600dpi.
It can print from between 2m and 25m A4 sides per month and can be used with uncoated paper with a weight of between 60g to 140g.
The machine is compatible with all Impika water-based inks, pigment or dye, as well as the company’s new high density inks.
The manufacturer said: "The iPrint Compact turns the iPrint range into the largest and most comprehensive print offering on the market. We have already taken some confirmed orders for the machine."
Impika said pricing the iPrint Compact would depend on its configuration.
The iPrint range includes four models in addition to the Compact including the 75, 125, 150 and 250.
