The ColorBooster 250 is a modular device that can be fitted with different features according to a customer’s requirements.
It prints materials from 0.5m to 2.5m in width, in four, six or eight colours, and has variable resolutions up to 1,080x720dpi. A wide range of ink types is available, including dye-sub, reactive, acid and pigment. Pricing starts from €89,000 for the printer, which can print up to 64sqm/hour.
Hollanders described it as having “ultimate print quality at the lowest cost per square metre”.
Chief executive Jacco Aartsen Tuijn said: “We have great expectations for this machine, it will bring us a lot of new leads. It’s a nice way into textile printing and is also real production workhorse that can print for 22 hours a day on its own.
“The market is waiting for a machine like this. In our opinion it’s the most cost-effective machine on the market,” he stated.
A carpet edition with a heavy-duty load and unload is also available, and Hollanders’ own booth is carpeted with a bespoke printed carpet produced on the device.
It is also has information and a video presentation on its recently-launched ColorBooster DS double-sided textile printer.
