The Jet Press 750S High Speed Model (HSM) was announced at the Virtual.Drupa event in April.
It has a top speed of 5,400sph in high performance mode, and existing Jet Press 750S users can upgrade to the new spec.
A 750S HSM is now in place at Fujifilm’s Advanced Print Technology Centre in Brussels, with the live demo set to take place at the ‘First Look’ event on 27 July at 10.30am BST.
Mark Stephenson, Fujifilm Graphic Systems Europe product manager for digital solutions, said the new model offered “unrivalled flexibility”.
“The new high performance mode opens up a world of possibilities for longer print runs that would usually have been litho printed in the past, but crucially, users of the new model will retain the ability to deliver high margin, high quality short run work as well,” he said.
During the event Fujifilm plans to show how easy it is to switch between the different printing modes, and which mode is the best option for different types of jobs. The firm will explain how the press does not need to use primer when operating in high speed mode.
Stephenson added: "I'm really missing out on not being able to visit Brussels and see for myself as the news on the High Speed Model is overwhelmingly positive. Results are even better quality than the initial samples we had from Japan and we're practising our close ups to show the subtle difference between High Quality and High Performance modes on camera.
"The HSM really is two presses in one and the secret is in the new dual mode ink that performs as usual with our Rapid Coagulation Primer for ultra high quality but there's no need for primer when you run in higher speed. This also means two commercial benefits: no primer and savings on ink usage which we will reveal on the show. In this case the best things come in twos."

The Jet Press 750S HSM will be commercially available in Europe in the autumn.
