The new partnership will help speed overall production time using Vivid’s VeloBlade digital cutting and flatbed taping machinery, with Fiery’s JobFlow automating submission and job preparation processes.
The software can generate print-ready files complete with finishing instructions, registration marks, and QR codes to help automate the transition between printing and finishing, with Fiery’s JobFlow AI technology able to automatically sharpen image resolution and raise DPI for images printed in wide format.
Fiery’s Impose software, part of JobFlow, will likewise be available to Vivid customers, automating gang-up layouts and bookletmaking with customisable imposition templates.
Fiery’s software has been tuned to work alongside Vivid’s ZipCore Packaging Suite, with JobFlow carrying out tasks built in the ZipCore CAD/CAM software, allowing jobs to be processed significantly faster.

“The solution will deliver significant savings, reducing job preparation time to a few minutes and reducing media consumption by an average of 33% compared with traditional methods. This helps increase the profit per job with printers seeing a return on investment for Fiery JobFlow in a matter of months.”
At the same time, Fiery has revealed a partnership with Global Inkjet Systems (GIS) to develop software for the inkjet market.
The firms are working to combine Fiery’s Impress software with GIS printhead drive electronics, and the GIS Atlas inkjet interface software to build a simple, one-stop inkjet software package.
Fiery has likewise launched a new website, Fiery.com, to better support customers.
The website has consolidated Fiery’s training materials and user community into a single site, making it easier for customers to access knowledge and support, including the redesigned Fiery Communities portal where customers can talk to peers and Fiery staff.
To top off the raft of announcements, Fiery has now expanded its vehicle wrap template service, Pro Vehicle Outline, to the European market, including outlines for popular European vehicles.
