A Berger will show textile media for all digital printing technologies up to 5m. The areas of applications are lightboxes, frameless frames, banner displays, flags, stretched canvas, interior design, home décor and beyond. The new products are be.tex Flash Ultra FR 4380 77, a very soft, crease-resistant material with a special coating for light diffusion in lightboxes, and be be.tex Lightbox FR 4290 66, a crease-resistant water-tight material for light diffusion in lightboxes.

Antalis is broadening its flagship visual communications Coala range with 60 new products. These include media for window, floor and wall graphics, with options for outdoor applications that can withstand adverse weather conditions; textured surfaces with a brushed metal, canvas or linen-like finish to protect and decorate images; additional features such as anti-graffiti, anti-scratch, high-gloss, dry-erase and chalkboard finishes; easy-apply substrates that that can be printed, applied and removed directly by the end -user without the help of a professional; and wallpapers for personalised decoration including non-woven coated and uncoated wallpapers, pre-pasted paper, self-adhesive papers as well as embossing and fibre glass options.

US-based films specialist Arlon Graphics will be launching additional colours to its Ultimate PremiumPlus line of automotive wrapping and interior design films.

Self-adhesive films specialist Aslan Schwarz will be unveiling a new printable floor graphics film with class R 13 anti-slip performance; a new metal effect film in glossy copper for exclusive decorations; and glass decoration films with decorative patterns.

Brett Martin will launch a new range of high optical grade polyester sheets, Marpet-a FS aPET, which is said to offer high strength-to-weight ratio, workability, chemical resistance and fire performance, according to the company. It is available in thicknesses of 2mm, 3mm and 4mm. The UK-based specialist plastic sheet manufacturer said that while this product is more suitable for flat and cold bending applications, such as POS display stands, poster glazing and illuminated signage, it may also be thermoformed and hot-line bent within a controlled temperature range to avoid crystallisation.

The Decoprint brand of DHJ International is launching two new polyester substrates: Aqualight Black Pearl is intended for backlit and lightbox applications and uses water-based inks, while Theater Black Back is a blockout material for Frame systems that takes latex and UV inks.

The Airplac division of Emball’iso Group will be launching a new foam board, Airplac Street, which is described as rigid polystyrene foam with an Agfa polyester liner. It is waterproof, long-lasting and lightweight with a silky white surface for high-end signage and POS.

Austrian company Finze Group is unveiling a 3D-effect product Finlens 3D. The new system is made up of a range of films and a software package and Finze says it retains its perspective of depth from whatever angle it is viewed and projects an enlarged image of the subject. Potential applications include postcards, posters to packaging.

Guandong will be showcasing its new Nano-Tack product for smooth surfaces. The firm says the glueless material is “ultra-removable”, bubble free, and available in transparent and white.

Guyenne Papier is launching two new films: SuniSolvant and an addition to the SuniJet range. SuniSolvant is an opaque grey-back film designed for eco-solvent, mild solvent, high solvent, latex and UV printing. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. SuniJet is designed for use with water-based, dye and pigment inkjet printers. The new additions are transparent, fluorescent and irridescent films.

Aluminium panel specialist Multipanel will unveil Alupanel A-Lite, which has a premium A5005 alloy skin that provides “outstanding” corrosion resistance. Both sides of the panel are ultra-white matt finish that has been developed to help display printed colours with increased brightness and intensity and with greater durability.

Neschen will be presenting a brand new floor graphic solution UV dot Print’n’Walk, a slip-resistant printable film.

Lightweight corrugated specialist PilloPak is launching two new additions to its Allison range of paper-based panels. Allison Solid white board is an extra strong panel for very heavy load applications. It has the same white finish as the standard Allison board, but also includes an underlayer board. Allison MDF FR is a lightweight paper based sandwich panel for visual communications.

Pongs offers a range of visual aids for merchandising, and events. The company will have two new products on its stand. A new acoustic material called Silencio has been developed for the architectural market. Also new is the DirectTex Backlit Premium wrinkle-free and DirectTex Blackout V, now softer and whiter and formulated for dye-sublimation.

Premier Textiles will launch a range of base fabrics designed especially for the fashion garment market; a new multifibre fabric, which can be printed using a variety of print methods and using different types of inks; and a new glitter-effect fabric.
