At the show in Amsterdam, which is being held at the RAI exhibition centre until the end of today (15 October), the company is demonstrating the Kombo SD+ 31.20 multi-function cutter at stand F30 in Hall 1.
Speaking to Printweek at Fespa, Elitron events and marketing specialist Claudia Marcantoni said: “This machine can cut different kinds of materials from Forex to fabrics, Dibond, PVC, plastics. The cutting head can be set with different kinds of tools.”
With a working area of 3.1x2m, this machine is equipped with the Seeker System, patented by Elitron, which automatically recognises printed images on the working area.
A dual camera system automatically sees the sheet, recognises the printed images, loads the relative cutting files, and then identifies the position of the reference points, ready for cutting to start.
Also live on Elitron’s stand at Fespa is the Kombo SDC+ 31.20, a multi-function, flexible, digital conveyor cutting table with a full range of cutting tools for both roll and rigid media.
The Kombo SDC+ 31.20 has a working area of 3.1x2m and can be equipped with a feeding system for roll materials, a holding clamp, and a synchronised unloading table to facilitate the collection of finished materials.
The Plus version features higher performance motors, but the Kombo SDC 31.20 is also available.
Elitron is also highlighting a range of its new innovations for 2021, including Virtual Production Module, which calculates production times in order to estimate and organise jobs with greater precision, and Power Speed Processor, which enables high speed digital cutting for cardboard and corrugated.
Also; Surface Mapping Tool, which enables 100% cutting uniformity, and the 3D Milling Tool, which enables users to create signs and designs in 3D.
Elitron said it will also soon reveal more details about its new Kombo TAV V2 system, which enables fully automatic finishing for stacks up to 1.55m but with front loading/unloading to reduce the overall footprint requirement.
