As well as being EFI’s scheduling guru, Arieli is the inventor of EFI PrintFlow and also developed the Theory of Global Optimization (TGO).
The live webinars take place at 5pm BST (Noon, Eastern Daylight Time) for the next three Tuesdays, but will also be available on demand afterwards.
The first session, titled ‘Myths of the Print Industry & the Theory of Global Optimization’ took place last week with upcoming sessions on ‘Are you an Optimizer or a Scheduler?’; ‘Lean Manufacturing and/or TGO’; and ‘The Future of Dynamic Scheduling’ taking place tomorrow, July 14 and July 21 respectively.
More information is available on the webinar microsite.
In the thought leadership webinars, Arieli, who retires at the end of 2020, will highlight how businesses can optimise their operations: “Through my work in print and packaging software development, including PrintFlow Dynamic Intelligent Scheduling and the Theory of Global Optimization, we have succeeded in integrating a theory and product into one powerful offering,” he said.
“This is my life’s work, and I am pleased to celebrate this unique milestone with a series of webinars detailing what my EFI colleagues and I have achieved for our customers worldwide.”
Other presenters lined up to take part in the sessions led by Arieli are Matt Lafleur, product manager, EFI PrintFlow; Mark Wishnefsky, EFI senior customer operations consultant; and Nick Benkovich, vice president of product portfolio management, EFI Productivity Software.
Separately, EFI has launched a new inventory management module for its MarketDirect productivity software suite.
Cloud-based MarketDirect Fulfillment is targeted at companies that are looking to introduce or expand their pick-and-pack offering.
EFI described it as a seamless order-to-fulfilment workflow that offered “intuitive and flexible administration tools” and “out-of-the-box functionality for existing MarketDirect StoreFront web-to-print/eCommerce users”.
