The DC-618 replaces the DC-616 and offers some of the same features of its high-end siblings including the new PC module for EFI Fiery workflow integration.
“We’re all very excited with the new DC-618 as it’s been six years since the DC-616 was launched, with hundreds sold across the UK. It’s been a great success and many of these systems are still today producing work day-in day-out,” said Martyn Train, Duplo UK managing director.
The sheetfed multifinisher has an increased media range, supporting substrates up to 400gsm, and can carry out 6 slits, 30 cuts and 20 creases and cross perfs per pass, which, according to Train, means “applications are only limited by your imagination – real value add”.
Capable of producing greetings cards and postcards, the SRA3 format machine can produce 21-up business cards at 9.2 sheets per minute (spm) up to 16spm A3 brochures one-up.
It can also handle long sheets up to 1,000mm and produce finished items down to 48x50mm, and has a built-in 250 job memory.
“If you’re looking to consolidate printing processes to improve efficiency, reduce bottlenecks or turnaround times, please do take a look at the DC-618,” said Train.
Demos are available at its Addlestone showroom or remote live demos can also be arranged.
Duplo continues to operate during the lockdown, offering full-service support, on location, adhering to social distancing rules, and remotely with spares and consumables also available.
According to UK marketing manager Zunaid Rahman the post-press specialist is also launching a range of products from Renz and Ideal to help companies during the Covid-19 crisis, including air purifiers and high-quality visors.
