Polar Street FX is a PVC-free aluminium substrate that is 250 micron thick with a R12 slip rated textured matt white surface. The recyclable PVC-free material is available in roll widths of up to 1.2m.

According to Drytac it was developed to adhere securely to surfaces including concrete, brick and asphalt and has a high-traffic outdoor rating of 12 months. It can be run through eco-solvent, solvent, latex and UV printers.

"There is a huge market for floor graphics, and we expect that to continue for some months," said Drytac global product manager Shaun Holdom.

"It's essential for any print businesses offering this application to provide graphics that are safe and durable, however urgent the timeframe."

Drytac has manufacturing facilities in the UK and Canada.
