The Woodley, Berkshire-based wide-format media and hardware supplier will soon be stocking a new range of clear UV-printable films by Solar Gard.
The PC films are made from high-grade polyester with a coating receptive to UV-printing and are available with permanent or removable adhesive. It said they are suited for a range of non-porous surfaces, including glass, mirrors, steel and marble.
The films are available in 914mm, 1,220mm, 1,524mm and 1,829mm widths.
CMYUK commercial director, consumables division Michael Crook said: “This has one of the highest optical clarity levels in the market and the UV-protection reduces fading of interiors by 45%. It is available with removable adhesive for temporary signage and has increased EN 1200 protection in case of glass breakage.”
Crystal Floor, a reverse printable clear flooring material by Udeco, will also soon be available in 1,300mm–2,000mm widths.
“This has an anti-slip, scuff-resistant top surface, which can transform interior floor spaces, with stunning graphics,” Crook said. “It’s ideal for exhibitions, retail spaces and more permanent design features.”
CMYUK is also exclusively stocking Berger Samba Opaque FR, new sister product to Samba textile for frontlit and backlit applications in the UK.
The new Samba opaque version has an opaque yarn on the reverse which Udeco claims has a 100% blockout, making it suitable for theatre, display frame or event backdrops. It is available in rolls up to 3,200mm wide.
Dye-sub textiles Berger Dyelux FR and Salsa Opaque FR also provide the market with a 100% blackout, Udeco said, with minimal shrinkage and a woven textile face.
At the end of last year Clear Focus Europe launched two new window film products, 24-Vue and BudgetVue, which will also be available from CMYUK this quarter. The products are also stocked by Pyramid Display Materials.
