Kevin Goeminne, chief executive at the Belgium-headquartered developer, said that now was the time for web-to-print to “seize its moment”.
“By offering our browser-based solution in the cloud, we hope to service a broader range of web2print service providers that are investigating the SaaS approach to secure business continuity or accommodate business elasticity,” Goeminne stated.
“We’re helping them manage the service so they can manage their business.”
Chili Publisher Online is delivered as a hosted cloud service and is available in four different variants depending on the level of usage and SLA requirements.
The firm said the options had been designed for companies of all shapes and sizes right up to global brand requirements: Starter for small businesses; Business for medium-sized firms; Professional aimed at companies serving large customers; and Private Cloud for group-wide enterprises and global brands.
All users will receive automatic product updates and full access to all of the Chili Publisher features, including APIs.
Chili Publish product marketing manager John Arnsdorf described the software suite as “the most scalable, most advanced online editing solution out there”.

Chili Publish has also developed a new PDF rendering engine, which it said has been “rebuilt from the ground up”, in order to generate “optimised variable data files at scale”.
“These optimised, lightweight PDFs are more efficient to create, transfer and process throughout your entire workflow,” the firm stated.
