The Onetex Pro8 is available in three widths, 5.2m, 3.3m and 1.9m, the latter is being demonstrated here.
Roberto Martellono, ATPColor’s marketing director, said the new addition to the OneTex family of printers was designed for medium-size print houses.
“I think it has its own niche, it’s not going against the big giants.”
The Pro8 series folds several functions into one body, with an in-built calender unit and inline cutting and sewing options to join one roll to the next. The new models can be even be configured to print on cotton with pigment dyes.
The machines, which are now available with up to eight Kyocera print heads, can be converted to print on paper for transfer paper with a platen conversion.
