The ArtisJet proV6 is targeted at customised printing of primary cosmetic packaging such as lipsticks and make-up palettes, as well as promotional products including smartphone accessories.
It prints at up to 2,880dpi in CMYK plus four whites, or CMYK plus two whites and two varnishes. Tactile printing effects are possible via the printer’s control software.
“Different accessories and jigs can be customised for users,” explained head of sales Hathaway Liu.
Pricing is from €16,000-€18,000. Other printers in the range can print directly onto larger objects, including bottles and suitcases.
The firm is exhibiting on stand B5-H94 at Fespa, which is being held at Messe Munich until Friday 17 May.
