The poll, which ran on the printweek.com homepage over the past week, found that 43% of respondents believed that ending phoenix and pre-pack administrations was the best way to meet the challenge of low pricing.
Only 16% believed that market forces should rule and no action should be taken to halt low pricing in the industry.
A quarter believed that naming and shaming guilty companies would be the most effective way to solve the pricing issue, with a further 17% saying that capacity has to come out of the market.
The poll followed Peter Crowson, managing director of Team Impression, hitting out at local rivals’ crazy pricing structures.
