What I desire is arguably more important and valuable than any piece of machinery. It is a global industry standard concerning ‘colour space’. Everyone in the printing world knows the challenges involved in making the colour you see on screen into a reality on paper. Having one industry standard for proofing would make everybody’s lives much easier. Unfortunately the ‘black art’ of colour on material lives on. Although this has improved in the digital world, there is still a long way to go.

I love eating at restaurants but I often find choosing and booking venues time-consuming. The fact I can now book my favourite restaurant online and easily choose the time I want to eat while doing other things is great. I travel a lot and have to book eateries in places I have never been to before. Booking websites can save time and hassle abroad. But while I am generally satisfied with these online reservation services, there are a couple of areas for improvement that would make the overall restaurant experience more pleasurable. I would love a website that allows customers to choose and reserve their favourite table and pre-order their aperitifs. This would mean that when you arrive, the table is ready with your favourite tipple, allowing you to start the evening in style.
