Zund launches first ever software programme

Cutting equipment manufacturer Zund has launched Zund Cut Centre, a software package for its G3 cutting machines.

It is the first software programme that Zund has put its name to and is designed to maximise the productivity of the G3.

It features a number of advantages for users, including quick file retrieval and access to the production schedule, a "best-fit" compensation system for non-uniform shapes and Cut Editor, featuring advanced editing functions.

The company launched the software at Viscom 2010 in Frankfurt, where it also launched a Braille tool for tactile signage, a roll-off option for cutting of textiles up to 3.2m wide and a mist lubrication system for faster routing of more materials.

Zund also announced that its machines will now feature a two-knife simultaneous system for higher productivity.
