The Czech Republic-based company terminated a Europe-wide distribution deal with GBC Laminating Group on 31 December last year.
A subsidiary company has been established in the Netherlands, but it has also turned to Zulu Packaging for the UK and Ireland.
The Tunbridge Wells-based company will be responsible for sales, repairs and installations, and will be the main point of contact for Komfi users.
Steve Creates, managing director at Zulu Packaging, said: "We are planning to support regional growth with new appointments soon."
Komfi machines provide thermal laminating. They feature electrical heated laminating rolls and can handle sheets from 20x20cm to 102x142cm.

Lamination equipment distributor Zulu Packaging has been appointed as the UK agent for lamination manufacturer Komfi Europe.
