The Newton Abbot, Devon-based company said it would have been unable to grow its work intake due to an ageing folder.
Managing director Roger Man said: "We realised that in order to move forward in handling increased demand we needed a new, capable machine.
"We have found that by being able to offer such a range of services we are able to stay busy, and a ‘we consider anything’ approach certainly helps. 95% of our output is now full colour, and we can print anything from a few hundred copies digitally, with medium to longer runs performed on our litho presses."
Mann added that the 14-staff company was now able to produce "approaching 99%" of jobs in house thanks to the folder, which has increased the number of different folds it can perform.
Formed in 1885, Wotton offers end-to-end services, from initial design to a large variety of finishing options, including cutting and creasing, perfect binding, saddle-stitching, laminating, booklet making and envelope overprinting.
