The Walsall-based company has said that it expects the machine to bring about "significant improvements in makeready and press running times".
WM Print runs sheetfed, digital and web presses that handle a wide variety of work, including books, magazines, directories, newspapers, brochures, folders, and wallets.
Gary Cooper Snr, managing director at WM Print, said: "We have been running at full capacity for several years now. The new investment will bring us up to date with our sheetfed machinery.
"We have been aware for some time that we needed to make this investment to move the business forward, but it's just choosing the right time to do it. Strange as it might seem, I actually think that now is a good time."
WM Print was established in 1971 and currently employs 45 staff.
