Supplied by the Partwell Group, the LineA represented a “six-figure investment” for the Keighley-based company, which took delivery of the kit in April.
30% faster than previous Serviform bending machines, the device complements White Rose’s existing Serviform Eco Plus and Serviform Eco Giant bending machines and further enhances its manufacturing throughput and order turnaround times.
The Serviform LineA can bend 1.5pt, 2pt, 3pt, and 4pt material up to a height of 32mm. The machine uses a new locking device to ensure the steel rule cannot move during the bending process, therefore offering tighter bending and improved accuracy.
The broaching unit uses a broaching wheel rather than a needle and the nicking module has six wheel sizes on a spindle. Additionally, a complete set of special cartridges allows the creation of special rules, such as punched revolver nicks. The LineA’s SDDS software has been developed for ease of use and its ability to interact with existing networks.
White Rose Cutting Formes managing director Phil Turner said: “We are delighted to extend the Serviform family with another new addition that will increase our production speed and productivity massively.”
Specialising in the design, development, and production of cutting dies for the printing and packaging industries, the business is fully equipped to handle all requirements from a basic one-up profile through to complex card and carton cutters.
