The Powys-based sheetfed firm has taken on the order book and 12 staff from the printer and web design company Severn Media Group, also based in Powys, all of which will now be moved at Welshpool's Severn Farm site.
The company has also taken Shrewsbury-based Redverse, which was formerly part of North Quarter Ltd.
The 3-staff design and production firm remain in Shrewsbury but now, as part of the Welshpool Printing Group, bolster the group's staff total to 72.
Welshpool Printing Group managing director Paul Jones "We are pleased to be able to safeguard the future employment of quality local staff."
He added: "My father, Brian Jones, Group Chairman, has grown the company with the merger and acquisition of local companies successfully during the past few years and I see no reason why these latest acquisitions should not prove to be equally successful.”
Brian Jones declined to comment to printweek.com on the reason for North Quarter Ltd selling the businesses but said that “they hadn't gone into administration”.
He said that the group had spent “a considerable amount” on the assets, which also included a digital press.
Jones added: "As well as securing the future for our staff, we've given our order book a healthy boost too".
Paul Jones said: "By having production running 24-hour shifts, six days a week will enable us to maintain the service and quality our customers expect, and the purchase of Severn Media will allow us to add web design and digital printing to its portfolio, allowing us to offer the complete service to all our customers.
