Porthmadog-based Bear Print took ownership of Snowdonia Press at the beginning of February for an undisclosed sum.
The buy allows short-run digital specialist Bear Print to move into longer-run brochure and leaflet work using Snowdonia's pair of Heidelberg Speedmaster SM 52s, a two- and a four-colour.
Liz and Jim Mowatt of three-staff Bear Print bought Snowdonia from owner Gwyn Davies, who has retired but will remain in an advisory role.
All seven staff remain at Snowdonia's current site, which produces tourist material for local attractions including 1m brochures each year for independent rail company, the Ffestiniog Railway.
Gwyn Davies told printweek.com he hopes the new ownership will take the business "a step further".
"After running the business for 35 years, it was time to move on. Hopefully they will take the business and develop it."
